One of the most selling artist in the U.S.A, he was a pianist, singer, song-writer and composer. His best song ever created was Pianoman (first to go big). He was thrown into the songwriters hall of fame in 2001. He is a 6 time Grammy award winner, he was nominated 23 times throughout his life. He was influenced by early rock and roll and rhythm and blues like the Beatles, The Drifters, and the Four Seasons. He always favored pop structured music melodies. He is still alive. :)
