Reflection: Teacher Specific Survey

For the last 6 weeks at Otay Ranch High School, all teachers have been working on teaching students the academic literacy skill, RELATE AND APPLY.

In Period 5:

1.       Describe how learning the skill RELATE AND APPLY helped you learn the content of this class.

I learned to start speaking about my art. To fully describe it all in complete sentences, also that a word speaks a summary.

2.       List and briefly describe two specific tasks that you were engaged in to practice this skill in this class.

1-Writing about my pictures in a formal context, that emphasizes the particularity of my work.

2- Taking incredible pictures, within an appropriate range of settings(limited) to focus my genius.

3.       What suggestions do you have that would have helped you learn this skill more effectively?

A better setting for my art, in which I am free to leave the classroom to completely express my art. Without freedom nothing comes out of restrictions and abuse.
